NLIHC is proud to present the second issue of Tenant Talk, our newsletter for residents of public housing, assisted tenants, and low income renters and their allies. This issue has a fresh new look, thoughts from residents who attended the NLIHC Housing Policy Conference and lots of valuable information that will help readers take action.
Check out some of the features from this issue:
- Section 3: What you need to Know
- Public Housing Legislation: What Does it Mean for Residents?
- What Do We Know About the Voucher Program?
- Get the Facts: Out of Reach 2011
We’ve redesigned Tenant Talk to make it easier for you to find the articles that matter most to you. In this issue you’ll find helpful icons that let you know the focus of each article, be it policy, research, or an opportunity for you to take action. A key to these icons can be found at the bottom of the first page of Tenant Talk.
Most importantly, we want to know what you think about Tenant Talk, so please get in touch and let us know what you think. We want to know if the articles are useful, and what you would like us to cover in future issues.
You can also help out the Coalition by making sure that you, your neighbors or your colleagues are all signed up to receive Tenant Talk. Remember, NLIHC members receive this newsletter, as well as Memo to Members, absolutely free. Contact our Outreach team at outreach@nlihc.org to learn how to join NLIHC, receive Tenant Talk in your mailbox and benefit from conference discounts available only to members.
Thanks NLIHC!
